Stroll at the top of Grand Pré
The Grand Pré summit, which reaches up to altitudes of 2,715 metres, is without a doubt one of the most spectacular viewpoints on the Val d'Isère ski area.
This vast plateau boasts exceptional views of the Barmes de l'Ours glacier, with the Pointe de la Sana rising up to an altitude of 3,435 metres.
This peaceful, sun-drenched spot is the perfect place to take a few photos with the giant Val d'Isère letters in the background, or you could just relax on one of the deck chairs.
To get to Grand Pré, follow these steps:
From the top of Bellevarde, or the Borsat chairlift, head towards the Grand Pré chairlift. The plateau is at the top of the chairlift.
A few top tips: The Grand Pré plateau is the ideal place to take a break while you’re out skiing for the day. In good weather, take your lunch with you and eat it at one of the picnic tables. Then sit back and admire the panoramic views!
