45,000 hours of maintenance, 7 cables changed, and maintenance work carried out on 30 of Val d’Isère Téléphériques’ 42 ski lifts.
These figures give you a little glimpse into the work carried out by our teams from May to November across our entire ski area to ensure that all the equipment runs smoothly both in winter and in summer.
A detailed inspection is a key part of many of the tasks carried out by our teams: changing cables, checking pulleys, replacing sheaves, taking measurements, changing rollers… Compulsory safety standards checks after 15 years, then every 10 and 5 years thereafter.
