Nestled at an altitude of 2,450 metres, the Solaise massif is the jewel in the crown of our ski area. This area offers a combination of slopes for leisurely skiers, fun zones for children and breathtaking views of the valley and surrounding peaks.
Solaise is the ideal refuge for skiers looking for a gentler day's skiing. Its many blue and green runs, as well as its Ski Tranquille zone, are perfectly suited to less experienced skiers. These runs are all located at altitude, so you can discover the pleasures of skiing while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
At the summit of Solaise, the ValKids area offers your children a unique fun and educational experience. Designed to awaken their curiosity, this area presents the different mountain professions, such as groomer, ski patroller and lift operator.
Through a variety of exciting modules and activities, such as the ValKids Workshops (during school vacations), children can discover what goes on behind the scenes in the ski area, while having fun at the same time. A must for budding explorers, ready to find out more about our mountain heroes.
The Solaise Lounge is the ideal place to take a break from your day's skiing. With its terrace offering breathtaking views of the Solaise massif, you can enjoy your break sipping a hot drink and savoring a pastry while taking in the scenery.
Inside you'll find a spacious break room with panoramic views of the ski area and the famous Tignes dam. While you're in the Lounge, don't miss the exhibition room on the first floor, featuring photos showcasing the different professions at Val d'Isère Téléphériques.

From Solaise, take the legendary Leissières chairlift, you can go from the Solaise massif to Iseran in no time at all. This unique chairlift takes you to the summit and across the mythical Leissières ridge, offering 360° views all the way, with the option of taking it in either direction. The Leissières chairlift is a real bridge between these two fabulous massifs.
Once on the other side, the Iseran awaits you with its breathtaking scenery and its Glacier du Pisaillas at an altitude of over 3,000 metres, perfect for lovers of wide open spaces and adrenalin!
